Hitler's 'Mein Kampf'

Theme: Nazi propaganda

Hitler’s book Mein Kampf was widely read in Britain; some people believed what he wrote and supported the Nazis’ ideas.

This English copy was taken to Germany by British people on holiday in summer 1939, not long before the Second World War broke out.

They carried the book to Berchtesgaden, where Hitler had a home, and asked him to autograph it for them.
