The highest-ranking, trusted ministers of the Nazi regime met at Wannsee to authorize and plan ‘The Final Solution’. Many of them had links to the Gestapo and had already organised mass killings themselves.

The meeting was organised by Reinhard Heydrich, Head of the SS, who knew that he had a very good chance of his plans being approved.
